This note, co-authored by representatives of INRAE, Anses and ARVALIS – Institut du végétal, gives an overview, by disease and by mode of action, of resistance to fungicides used to control diseases of straw cereals and formulates recommendations to limit the risks of resistance development and maintain satisfactory efficacy. They are based on the one hand on knowledge of the status of resistance in populations (occurrences and frequencies of resistance, regions concerned, possible losses of efficacy observed in trials), and on the other hand on knowledge of resistance mechanisms and the characteristics of resistant strains (level of resistance, spectrum of cross-resistance in particular, selective value).
